You head down into the station and through a door. Inside is a neon-lit cocktail bar with a real drinks program.

The location is the hook, but the drinks hold up on their own. New York has plenty of hidden bars. Very few are hidden somewhere this strange.

What to know

The entrance is inside the station. Reservations recommended.
