Most cafes are good at one of the two things. The coffee is serious here, and so is the food — pastries and brunch plates made with actual care rather than bought in to justify the espresso machine.
The tell is that nobody leaves. People sit, and keep sitting, well past the point where the cup is empty, which is the highest compliment a neighborhood cafe can be paid.
