One of the great Loew’s Wonder Theatres, built in 1930 and saved by a congregation that bought it in the 60s. Inside is a riot of gold, dragons and carved everything, at a scale nobody builds now.

It books concerts, films and community events, so unlike most buildings of this kind you can get in without a wedding invitation.
