Going? Tell them MUSEENYC sent you. It's not a discount and there's nothing to redeem — we just want them to know where you heard it.

We’re talking strictly hookah here — it’s a restaurant too, but that isn’t why we’re sending you. Manhattan is short on down-to-earth hookah lounges, and Horus on Avenue B is one.

What to know

Daytime is the chill version, and that’s when we’d go. At night you may find music and dancing, but the atmosphere is authentic rather than manufactured, which is the difference that matters. Either way the hookah is prepared properly and the coals are replenished consistently, which is the whole job and more than most places manage.
