A narrow, graffiti-lined alley off Rivington that dead-ends at one of downtown's best-hidden restaurant doors.

A cobblestone cut-through off Rivington Street, walled in on both sides and layered with posters, stickers and paste-ups the way only a passage nobody drives through can be. The art evolves constantly — come back in three months and it’s a different alley. It dead-ends at an unmarked door that turns out to be the back entrance to Freemans.
What to know
Free, and it takes about a minute to walk end to end — the appeal is the colour and the atmosphere, not the distance. Best folded into a night that already ends there.
