Going? Tell them MUSEENYC sent you. It's not a discount and there's nothing to redeem — we just want them to know where you heard it.

The distance is what makes it. A high bar in Manhattan puts you inside the skyline, which in practice means looking at whatever building is across the street. Westlight sits on the Brooklyn side with the East River in between, so the whole thing lines up at once.

It runs as a wraparound terrace on the twenty-second floor of The William Vale, so the view keeps changing as you move around it. Panoramic in the literal sense, not the promotional one.

What to know

Any time works, but go in the evening — the sunset is the version of this you want. The kitchen comes from Andrew Carmellini’s group, which is a higher bar than a hotel rooftop usually sets itself.
