Walk in and look at the walls. Central Park murals by the man who wrote Madeline, a gold-leaf ceiling, and a piano once the evening starts.
It is the most photographed hotel bar in New York for a reason. The drinks are fine. The room is the point, and the room is incredible.
What to know
There is a cover once the live music starts. Go at 5 to skip it, or pay and stay.
