This place is not for the faint of heart. There is constant motion — delivery drivers in and out, cab drivers at the counter, someone shouting an order over your shoulder. None of that is the point. The point is that the food is made with love, and you come here for the food and nothing else.
What to know
Order a plate rather than individual items, unless you are with a group. Everything is already prepared and sitting out, so you point at what you want — it might take a couple of tries before you’re comfortable with the rhythm and the language, and that’s fine. The naan and roti are made to order. The chai is always hot. Avoid the bathroom at all costs.
