A single block between Henry and Hicks, lined with low brick houses and a mews at the end. It does not feel like New York — that’s the whole recommendation. The name is old, and the usual explanation is that this is where young couples walked.
What to know
Two minutes, and it works best folded into a longer walk — it’s a few blocks from the Promenade, and the surrounding Heights streets are the real reward.
