The quietest of the Brooklyn Bridge Park piers, and planted heavily enough that you lose sight of the path you came in on. There’s a hedge maze, a lawn that stays usable when Pier 1 is full, and work sited around the greenery that you find rather than get shown.
What to know
Free. It’s the pier most people walk past on the way to the more photographed ones, which is the entire recommendation. The greenway connects it north to Pier 1 and the Brooklyn Bridge.
